Top seed and defending champion Novak Djokovic has drawn Stan Wawrinka in his half for a possible semifinal meeting.

The Serbian star will have to hurdle a tricky opener against Germany’s accomplished veteran Philip Kohlschreiber before facing former champion Lleyton Hewitt in the second round.

Hewitt, who announced earlier he will retire from the tour, is playing his last Wimbledon tournament which the Australian won in 2002. Another talented Aussie Bernard Tomic could face Djokovic in the third round.

Recently crowned French Open champion and No. 4 seed Wawrinka will start against Portugal’s Joao Souusa and could face big-serving Canadian Milos Raonic in the quarterfinals.

Roger Federer has drawn Andy Murray in the lower half of the draw. The seven-time champion, though, has a tough road ahead with a possible fourth round match against the dangerous lefty Feliciano Lopez before a quarterfinal meeting against big-hitting Tomas Berdych. Federer will play Damir Dzumhur of Bosnia in the first round.

Meanwhile, 2013 Wimbledon champion Murray was dealt a tough draw landing in the same quarter as Rafael Nadal. Murray opens his first round match against Kazakhstan's Mikhail Kukushkin and may meet Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the fourth round. Nadal will start against Thomaz Bellucci and has a possible last 16s meeting against Spanish compatriot David Ferrer.

No. 4 seed Maria Sharapova is drawn to face British wild card Johanna Konta in her opener and could meet her Roland Garros conqueror Lucie Safarova in the last eight. Serena’s quarter includes super sister No.16 Venus,  No.7 Ana Ivanovic, No.9 Carla Suarez-Navarro, and No.23 Vicka Azarenka,

This year’s total prize money for 2015 has been increased by 7% to £26,750,000. The winners of the men's and women's singles titles will earn £1.88m, up £120,000 from the previous year.

Following a tradition at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the defending men's champion will start the fortnight of festivities on Centre Court on Monday, while the women's defending champion will play her first match on Tuesday.
